Interactive GmbH is an independent publisher of PC and video games with its
head office in Eschborn, near Frankfurt and has many years of relevant experiance in the games industry. The current Managing Director founded bitComposer Games GmbH in 2009. In 2011 bitComposer Games was transformed into bitComposer Entertainment AG which had to go through insolvency proceeding within the year 2014. Major assets, including the name rights were bought from the insolvency administrator. With a mix of new and experienced employees and a financially strong investor, the original position is to be regained in the market.
Since then, more than 50 titles for PC, consoles, handhelds and mobile devices have been published. The bitComposer Games trademark still exists,
and total game entertainment from bitComposer is guaranteed when you see the
logo on its boxed products.

Interactive GmbH’s experienced core team focuses on the national and global
marketing and distribution of exciting and ambitious titles.
“Schlag den
Raab” (on Nintendo Wii and Windows PC) was a massive hit in Germany, and only
three weeks after its release the Wii version rocketed to the top of the
Nintendo Wii charts that are usually dominated by Nintendo. “Schlag den Raab”
has sold more than 140,000 units to date, and the sequel, “Schlag den Raab: das
2. Spiel”, appeared on four platforms (Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3, Nintendo
3DS and PC) in 2011, and continued the incredible success of the original. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
is a notable brand on the international scene, and the series has sold 4
million units to date, with S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat accounting for
500,000 of the total. Call of Pripyat won the “Best Game World 2010” category at
the European Games Awards.
Another milestone was achieved in February 2012
with the release of “Jagged Alliance: Back in Action”, and the new version of
the strategy classic “Jagged Alliance 2” is now available in over 20 countries. The rights for the Jagged Alliance brand were sold to a new owner.
Apart from
the classic PC, console and handheld platforms, bitComposer Interactive is
also concentrating on digital distribution and browser games, and is busy exploiting
the rapidly changing market in this sector.

Interactive works with experienced development teams and service providers
worldwide to create its own projects, licensed products and commissioned titles.
The traditional marketing of the product catalog is managed by internationally
renowned partners who have a thorough knowledge of their local markets. bitComposer
is also currently working with established portals on PC, console and mobile
entertainment devices to expand its digital distribution sector.
